Position: Administration Assistant

Key Accountabilities
- Provide administrative and customer service support
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders as required and ensure that customers are dealt with in a professional, efficient and courteous manner.
- Provide relevant information to staff and customers in a courteous and precise manner whilst promoting the services provided. Promptly directing enquiries to the appropriate people, accurately record messages and monitor work requests.
- Take minutes for meetings and provide other written correspondence as required.
- Display initiative in the development and implementation of processes and information to improve work flow and office management.
- Assist in the effective management of human resources by creating and maintaining personnel records, ensuring the timely processing of personnel forms (e.g. leave, higher-duties, timesheets etc) and reporting as directed.
- Provide effective administrative support services within the Unit including, but not limited to, assistance with record keeping of staff leave and payroll matters, scheduling and analysis of staff overtime.
- Administer internal document management systems and the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
Essential Requirements
- Experience in administration and/or business support roles.
- Demonstrated high level customer service skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of diverse people.
- Ability to prepare formal written correspondence.
- Excellent organisational skills and demonstrated ability to work under pressure, achieve work deadlines and priorities, and ability to work alone in a team environment.

- Ability to work flexible working hours and demonstrated dynamic approach to handling work.
- Ability to provide high level computer skills using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other relevant software.
- Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration (or other related field)
